The Culter Pipe Bands had a special place of honour at the Culter Gala 2013. Seventy-five years ago, in 1938, the 47th Culter Boys Brigade Pipe Band was formed. They have played for many years at Boys’ Brigade parades and local events including their role in leading the Gala Day procession through Culter. The band are members of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association.
The group have a Culter & District Section and a Novice Juvenile Band which play at events and competitions throughout Scotland.
